Biography:
Bill Mullins was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on October 3, 1937, was reared in Noxubee County, Mississippi, and received his primary education in the Macon City Schools. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Millsaps in 1959.

Mr. Mullins earned an LL.B. degree from the University of Mississippi, received his license, and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar, all throughout 1962. That year, he began his career in Laurel, Mississippi with this firm, then known as Welch, Gibbes & Graves. The firm’s name was changed to Gibbes & Graves in 1964 and has had several changes since. He became a partner in 1967 and was Managing Partner for 30 years. He took senior status in 2002 and still practices part time with this firm.

Mullins is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi, the U. S. Fifth Circuit, and the District of Columbia Circuit Courts of Appeal. He is a member of the Jones County, Mississippi, and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Mullins concentrates his practice in the areas of utility law, corporate law, and wills, trusts, and estate law.
